A bit on Eterna and Yamaha pianos
Eterna pianos were instruments made for Yamaha by The Pearl River Group in their factory in Guangzhou China. This was during the transition between moving the production of their smaller upright pianos from Japan to their current factory in Indonesia. These instruments are essentially the precursor to what is now the B1 model and were very well made and desirable pianos.
Arguably the most recognised of all piano manufacturers, Yamaha’s history began when its founder, Torakusu Yamaha, repaired a broken reed organ in 1887.
